After having been educated at Charterhouse School, I served in the British Army from 1876 until 1910 in India and Africa. In 1899, during the Second Boer War in South Africa, I successfully defended the city in the Siege of Mafeking. Several of my military books, written for military reconnaissance and scout training in the African years, were also read by boys.
Here's how the clubhouse is looking after some much needed tlc. Now remember, the secret knock is three quick, hard knocks followed by two slower ones and then the otter call. If you don't know the secret knock you're not allowed in!
